Anderton Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 There's a local station, WZZR, that every weekend, had DJs putting together some truly fabulous mixes. They changed frequencies after Jan 1, and the format too -- now they play the same rock stuff as every other station. Ugh. So my question is -- can anyone recommend any internet radio stations with good DJ mixes, or just plain good electronica? Does XM or Sirius have anything like this? I tried the Dance channel on satellite TV, but it's all "hits" with divas singing, not creative DJ mixing. HELP!! I need my fix!!! BP3 Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 I enjoy XM a bunch, but mostly listen to the MusicLab and the comedy channel. I'd listen to Fox News, but it's not as good without the picture (no Laurie Dhue  ).
Empty Planet Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 WFMU 91.1 in Jersey is a great all-around community station, all styles, but it sounds like you want more of the dancey electronicky thing.... So I would have recommended the UK Pirates, which used to be really great, but it looks like they've been put on ice...you might want to check out the page below, particularly the three stations with live web streams... http://www.star.ukshells.co.uk/y2kpirates/http.htm Cheers.

There is two web sights that are excellent source of various electronic genres.
