I had a similar thing happen with my Rode Classic. The mic was less than a year old so they replaced the cable for free. Just send 'em your old one and they'll send you a new cable at no charge. I'm not aware of the "S" designation. The part numbers I gave you were Mouser stock numbers, not Neutrik. If it came down to it, you could order the panel jack mate to it, and replace both of them.

As I understand it, Event Electronics distributes Rode mics but does not own the company. They've been a combo for many years now. Echo audio was also distirbuted by event as well but they split off on their own a few years ago.

Event USED to distribute Rode mics in the USA, but I believe they amicably discontinued that business relationship a while back. Rode is very good with the customer suppor thing. My stand adapter for my NTK broke and they sent me a new one with no hassles and no questions asked. And they were nice on the phone. :thu: http://www.rodemicrophones.com/

Doh! :o Looks like I need to get with it. I wasn't aware that Rode had finally left the nest.
