Trilogy
Hi, I'm new to the forum and I'm having a problem with my RD-300s: One of the keys (2nd highest A#) just quit working altogether. No sound comes out no matter how hard I hit it. It doesn't matter what internal or external sound I have it set to. Has anyone ever heard of this problem and is it easily repairable? Dave Bryce
Sounds like a key contact issue. An authorized service center is probably the way to go. dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <==
S_Gould
I replaced just about all of the key contacts (silly rubber boot thingies) on my RD 300s and it's successor [for me] the Rhodes MK80. If you don't mind undoing a bunch of screws and unseating the affected key(s) - and probably those adjacent - it ain't rocket science. Just order the parts.
