one time, at band camp, thewewus took over my mind and body and wrote songs about lobster tails. then he went and killed everyone named troll, especially the ones with bowling balls and licking. see how there's no balls? then one time, at band camp, i posed as bill fester and caused a big doo-doo mess. then one time, when i was 9, at band camp, i was mad at my mom so i opened the front door and slammed it really hard so it looked like i left. then i hid in the closet while the police came. BONK!

At Christmas dinner just this week, the gentleman to my left took my fork and proceeded to use it with his right hand, insisting it was his because forks are placed to the right of the place setting! I must still be in shock, or in the denial phase, because actually it doesn't bother me that much.
It's OK to tempt fate. Just don't drop your drawers and moon her.

I think the proper response in that situation would have been to grab the nearest unused fork and impale his hand to the table with it, but I'm sure you knew that. Maybe you'll react differently next time.

I was in a public urinal once in a hotel and a famous actor who was the star of very popular sitcom in 60's was in the urinal next to me and out of the corner of my eye I caught him trying to take a peek at my willy....

I actually read a previous post by the wewus. I'll never be the same. God help us, one and all...

When i as a kid, i saw my puppy get run over. That messed me up for a while. About 8-9 years ago i saw a 13-year old riding his bike get hit by a station wagon and then run over by a pickup truck in the opposite lane. This gave me nightmares, and the instant replay looped in my mind long enough that i considered seeking counseling..... and of course, some of the stuff i've seen on LSD have certainly changed my outlook on things... for better or for worse. Probably worse.

Actually, no, but you wouldn't want to know about it. Really.

It hasn't "scarred" me or anything, just a treasured memory. :D

I honestly believe that most of us has been severely scarred by television, for better or worse. /Mats

I remember one morning waking up about maybe 8-10 years ago, it was going to be a perfectly fine day, turning on CNN... ...and seeing this guy get run over by a train. He'd been protesting something or another, and couldn't get off the tracks in time. CNN showed it. Nowadays you expect to see anything on tv; that wasn't always the case. Just last year I saw a person's face get removed on some sort of surgery show on tv, just flipping the channels, and then WOOOMP. Actually, that kind of crap is really, really repugnant and you never know when one of those shows are going to be on. It's quite horrific seeing how seemingly callous a surgeon is with a human, shoving some sort of arthroscopic device around under the skin like he's trying to remove a seatcover from an old Ford or something. Disgusting. Vile? Some things on the Anna Nicole show. Scarred me? Saw a friend get hit by a car last year; he made it, three people in the other car died. Had that on instant mental replay for a long while. (snip) I had a big long list but have decided to edit it; this is a negative topic that serves no good purpose.

Saw a Chihuahua get his head torn clean off by a pitbull. It didn't really scare me, but it is the first time anyone brought their dead dog into me in 2 boxes.
