I'm loosin my shit

I've gone through 10 mice and never had problem.

I'm trying to swith from this mouse http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.compusa.com/product_images/images/full/33/292633_f.gif&imgrefurl=http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp%3Fproduct_code%3 D292633%26pfp%3DBROWSE&h=200&w=200&sz=10&tbnid=iNzy3ca2PrkJ:&tbnh=99&tbnw=99&start=17&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dmicrosoft%2Boptical%2Bmouse%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DN

So, the new one is wireless and connects to 1 of 2 usb ports I got. I put the piece into the usb, put the CD in, basically kept clicking next till the "installation is complete". I'm pretty sure this is what I do for th eprevious mice I installed- I then restarted my PC and plugged in the new mouse so I'd be ready at restart- I just unplugged the old mouse twhich has a wire to the mouse port.

New mouse didn't work- I went to mouse properties- said it's installed and working. I went somewhere in controll panel I think and updated the new mouse driver.

What the do I do?

it said all I had to do to make sure about the usb channels is hit the little reset button on the antenna in the usb and the mouse.

Um, when I finally get the mouse to work, will it work at the same time as my mouse I'm using now, which is plugged into the regular mouse port, or do I have to keep resetting and unplugging the mouse I'm trying to replace so only the one I want is plugged in upon restart?

computer instructions need a revolution
