Yamis Posted October 26, 2004 Share Posted October 26, 2004 Can anyone tell me how to set either the data entry slider or one of the 8 control knobs to send patch changes to an external synth? I just hooked my Oxy8 to my MS2000R and can't seem to figure it out. I have referred to the manual and am able to send patch changes by pressing the midi/select key, the program function key, enter the patch number, hit enter and then hit the midi/select key again. Tedious process. There must be a simple away to assign the data entry slider or one of the knobs. Help PLEASE? Yamis Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Switching MIDI CHANNEL might do the work, it requieres one or even two less keystrokes, but given the circumstances, it won't be too helpful for you.
