pardojeff
Hey all, A friend of mine offered to trade his S90 to me for my original Motif 8...I don't use the sequencing, and would love something lighter....I'd love to know what any S90 or fellow Motif owners think about this. Thanks. Jeff
lvercaut
I...would do it. But this is because i really love the triple strike S700 sound.And...i had a P-250 before! Do you use the sampling feature ? Greetings!Good evening! lvercaut
NoLights
Do it. Especially if you gig. I have an S-90 for gigs and a Mo8ES for the home studio. There's just enough more weight in the Mo8 to make it tough to gig with. The S-90's no lightweight, but (at least for me) it's do-able. You'll get that nice piano sound and a simpler interface. You'll lose on-board sequencing and sampling. But you'll get those great "rosewood" end panels. _______________________________________________ Kurzweil PC4; Yamaha P515; EV ZXA1s
88keys4me
Agreed. I use my S-90 mostly for home studio but play out on occasion. At 54 lbs it's easy enough to tranport to any gig. Love the S700, electric piano and organ voices, plus, the synth voices are topnotch. Just do it!
