Jon Doe
Had bad GAS and bought a Roland AX-7 just for the hell of it cause I never played a keytar before. What a fun axe. I MIDI out to my V-Combo which has SRX-09 & SRX-07 wave expansion boards in it. The V-combo outputs to a KC-550. All kinds of fun stuff i can do with it. wicked synth lead. One cool thing is playing squeezbox and fiddle fills with it. Really well built. It delivered with dead batteries though.... No signature required. Botch.
I've always wanted one of those. Our bass player and guitarist have developed quite a repertoire of "choreography" on a lot of the songs we do, I can join in when I'm playing fiddle but otherwise I'm stuck behind the stack, so to speak. Congrats on the new toy! (PS, wanna have some fun? Bring an electric drill to a gig, program a pitch-bent obnoxious tone, and then fake an Eddie van Halen drill solo on your keytar! That'd be too cool, and would really piss off your guitarist! ) Botch "Eccentric language often is symptomatic of peculiar thinking" - George Will www.puddlestone.net

Mark Zeger
Now you'll have to watch the old Janet Jackson "Control" video and pick up all the Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis dance moves w/their 'KX5's. Damn, those guys are smooth.

Damn, those guys are smooth. Smooth like diarrhea. Skip that Miami Sound Machine cheese and watch a DEVO video- their use of the SH-101 is the way it's done.
