Analogaddict
I like the thought of the 88ES controller with 88 semi-weighted keys. Now that they have both key beds, if they would only make a 76 key model with two alternatives; weighted and unweighted. Considering previous discussions on this and other forums, a 76 key master keyboard with weighted keys might be a big seller. I would buy one weighted and one unweighted to replace my A-50 and A-90, thank you!
Milos
Hey Analogadict-I dot think nothing can replace the a-50(excellent keybed and most important-poly aftertouch) You know what I think?I think the keystation 88es is the same thing as keystation 61es but it would be with piano style keys(by appearance and not by functionality- semi weighted but not full piano weighted keys.Well by specification its something like fatar tmk 88.Its the simplest midi controller.Maybe its just the test how people are going to accept the key action(the key action on keystation pro 88 is really bad-very low quality). If it goes well, maybe they will release in a year for example keystation 76 pro(with the same keybed on the 88es but with all aditional sliders and knobs like on the pro 88 and 76 semi weighted keys). You can't expect the ultimate keyboard controller from M Audio, but they are trying to make compromise beetween high cost and great functionality.
