Frayo
I managed to get ahold of some VSTs, and a VST host... Now I see theres this... and you can add a sampler and sample any hardware synth, or just put the audio out into the sound recorder on the host (I assume you can do that anyway).. OK- so how do you put it all together. You have all these VSTis and you want to make a track calling from all of them... is there a program that does this? That hosts the VSTis and HAS A PIANO ROLL EDITOR. Something that is NOT loop based at all. I want something that I can open a piano editor, put on some notes for a track....then click over to the next one, click on some for the other one...then press play and the stuff that I clicked in would play (kinda simple, I know). I need something to take all these sounds and put it all together. Thanks . jfhyde
kind of a funny question, almost any sequencer that hosts softsynth would work. I use Sonar, there's Cubase, Digital Performer and Logic for the mac. Do a search on the internet for them and read up! John

jfhyde
Piano roll editor is basic stuff, I think you'll find that in any sequencer. Something like Cakewalk Home studio would be less expensive for a PC. Regards, John
Frayo
Thanks for your help With Cakewalk, can you assign a channel to a VSTi and use the piano roll? So it wont play the MIDI sounds from the soundcard. I'm sounding like an illiterate.. Thank you so much for your help .
