animix
I recently purchased one of these for my studio. I'm a guitarist, not a keyboardist and I was wondering what sustain and volume pedals are recommended for this unit. I can't seem to DL the full manual from MAudio's webiste and the dinky User Guide is a bit thin in the hard info department. One major consideration is that my computers are in a machine room that is about 20' from the keyboard and mixing area and my computers boot too fast for me to run over and depress a bunch of pedals to reverse their polarity so I'm looking for something that functions with the existing polarity of the unit right out of the box. Thanks in advance...... Animix Productions Durango, Colorado
Milos
I think its compatible to the most pedals of famous manufacturers like Roland and Yamaha. Its all the same thing. How your's keystation 88 working(for now).I heard that its a excellent product but low quality. dfbills
The only way I know to reverse the polarity is to hold the pedal down as you plug it in.
Dave Bryce
Originally posted by dfbills: The only way I know to reverse the polarity is to hold the pedal down as you plug it in.There are some units that automatically sense the polarity of the pedal that's plugged into it without having to step on it. Alesis QS synths do that...no idea if the M-Audio stuff does it... dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network

RABid
I think its compatible to the most pedals of famous manufacturers like Roland and Yamaha....Roland pedals have opposite polarity than Korg. I think Yamaha is the same as Roland, which is strange since Yamaha has a stake in Korg. Look for a third party pedal with a polarity switch. That is what I use on my Korg Karma.
