Mezzo
I want to receive new banks downloaded from Clavia's homepage. I've downloaded and installed the sound manager, dumping banks is no problem but I cannot receive banks. When downloading the new bank I can see the names on the new sounds in the NL3's display as they are being transmitted into the synth. After reiceving the whole bank, the manual tells you to press the synth- button or one of the navigator-buttons to exit. I do that, but the bank has disappeared. I've lost two banks now. Bank 2 and 8 is gone. All I want is to download and start playing the new sounds. What am I missing?
Analogaddict
I´m sorry, I can´t help on this one. I´ve never used the Lead with a computer... Try emailing the Clavia tech support, they´re usually very helpful when it comes to this kind of stuff.

SolipsismX
::I´m sorry, I can´t help on this one. I´ve never used the Lead with a computer:: Yeah, I'm the same way. I pretty much make all my own sounds which is sort of the fun in getting this kind of synth. I also own a ddrum so I guess I should learn to do this since I hear the stuff they online is way cooler (but takes up more space).
mildbill
another guy here who doesn't have one, but i have some ideas: in order to hear the sounds, i'm pretty sure you have to 'store' them first.make sure 'memory protect' is off.after the sounds are loaded, press 'store'.use the navigator buttons to select the bank you want to store in.press 'store' again.you now should be able to scroll thru and hear the sounds.if you've done all this, sorry, you'll have to wait for more replies or e-mail tech support. Mezzo
Thanks guys, I understand that not many people download sounds from the internet. The reason why I do it is because I'm a newbee when it comes to creating sounds, and I want to download and try to find different kind of sounds I like, and then learn how they're buildt up. I've read the manual 10 times, and I do exactly what it tells me to do, but I cannot make this work. I've already mailed Clavia tech support about this a couple of days ago, but they have not replied yet. Hopefully within a few days they will...
