M Peasley
I have not been able to find any reviews by the major music publications of Spectrasonic's two offerings of Trilogy and Atmosphere. They've been around long enough, I would think, to be reviewed. What's up wit it? There's tons of buzz on the various BBS's. But even Spectrasonic's site has zero links to reviews. Keyboard? Sound on Sound? Electronic Musician? I'd love it if I've just missed them and someone can point me in the right direction. Or did Spectrasonics make everyone mad? Refuse to send out freebies or trial versions? Spit in someone's coffee?? M Peasley
Myshell
I'm interested in Atmosphere as well. I've had several people tell me it is awesome. Here's a review: Remixmag Myshell Nukina http://www.djmyshell.com http://www.nukina.ca
bigbaby987
atmosphere basically can give you just about any synth sound you are looking for convincingly. it has (i think) 1000 presets already and you can mix and match//layer basically all of the presets to make more sounds. the thing i like most about spectrasonics products, is that it really is the closest thing to a nice peice of outboard gear you can get your hands on. granted it is sample based. it sounds like real gear. not like most softsynths that sounds like crap next to a real keyboard. i don't have trilogy but i have played it and it is spectacular. same premis as atmosphere with the layering. spectrasonics is the Bentley of romplers. ****go to the website and listen to the examples of each.**** www.spectrasonics.net

M PeasleyAll Spectrasonic Instruments has been reviewed extensively by major music publications and there are even tutorials for Atmosphere written a couple of months ago (I forgot which one, but it was either EM or EQ). Sound On Sound has reviewed all three instruments and can be found at their website using the search function. Here's the links... Atmosphere Trilogy Stylus Enjoy! coyote
Hey, Trilogy was a great record! One of ELP's best. I used to think I was Libertarian. Until I saw their platform; now I know I'm no more Libertarian than I am RepubliCrat or neoCON or Liberal or Socialist. This ain't no track meet; this is football.
