bassplayer347
I work with someone whose father recently died. He ended up with a bunch of keyboard stuff of his dads from the seventies. He has a Wilder Leslie System, looks to be from the 70's. I have never heard of this brand before. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Is this worth anything? Thanks! bg
I remember Wilder. You're right, 1970's. ProCo Sound (aka Sound Factory) in Kalamazoo, Michigan sold them for a while. They had a rotating horn (fast speed only), electronic slow speed Leslie sim, and conventional front-loaded speaker cabinet. They were LOUD. They lacked the warmth of a regular Leslie, of course, but were designed to let the organist compete with the guitarist. I would imagine they are exceedingly rare, but I think very few people have heard of Wilder.
