Jeebus Posted December 21, 2002 Posted December 21, 2002 I'd just like to let any softsynth users know that I've recently upgraded to the Pro-53 from Native Instruments, and I must say that I'm very impressed. To my ears, it sounds much warmer than the 52. It's got some great improvements over the 52. The velocity sensitivity is welcome, as is the high-pass filter mode and audio input. The Jeebus approves. ------------------------- Your Friendly Neighborhood Jeebus
Anderton Posted December 22, 2002 Posted December 22, 2002 I'll second that...the Pro-%3 is indeed worth the upgrade. Speaking of NI, though, I'm curious why more people aren't salivating over Kontakt. I think it's a pretty amazing sampler. I tried Kontakt before (on my brother's PC), and although I found the filters awesome, I just didn't see any other reason why I should shell out 3 hundred something bucks for it when I have my trusty Akai S5000 with AkSys and an Akai MFC 42 to handle my filter needs. And oh BTW, the other reason why i'm not salivating on Kontakt, it's because of the FREEBIE Computer Music/Muon DS-404!
