Skyyder
The Touch screen on the Trinity has stop responding and the board will used at a function in another 2hours. What can I do to correct this. Can a hard reset correct the problem. I dont have the original disk that came with it. Thanks a million
zeronyne
Download the disk from korg.com and try it, but I don't think it's going to solve the problem. Use the cursor keys and dial to get by. IS the display working at all? "For instance" is not proof.
Skyyder
The display is on all right but you cant select anything. It just doesnt' respond to touch
zeronyne
I could be the sensing grid, or a loose connection, I believe. I think you are going to have to make do with the buttons and the scroll wheel. Luckily everything is accessible from them. "For instance" is not proof. Odyssian
Maybe you could try a factory reset: Korg Factory Resets Beware, as it will probably erase all of your sounds and sequences (all data) that is stored in the synth as of now. Do you have backups?
Odyssian
If it only had the factory patch banks loaded, there might be a way to reload all patches after the factory reset. Look for a parameter called "preload". That should get all the factory sounds loaded in RAM again. At least that's how it works on the Korg 01wfd. Skyyder
Thanks guys for your suggestions, I had to rush out shortly after I posted so I'm just getting a chance to read your replies. I'll try the reset option and see if it works. I just hope this board isn't going dead. Well thanks again and I'll let you know of the outcome
cnegrad
Another thought: You could also try asking your question over at the Trinity Forum at www.irishacts.com where there are many Trinity owners. Also, have you tried calling Korg tech support at (516)333-8737... Good luck!
