will a fostex vf-16 take any standard IDE drive?

I believe VF-16 is using a SCSI drive, check your manual (or pop the hood). /Mats

Should use IDE up to 80gig. Go to Fostex.com for a compatibility list.
No matter how good something is, there will always be someone blasting away on a forum somewhere about how much they hate it.
