felix.
I remember reading about Scissor Sisters in the Keyboard Magazine CD reviews recently. So the other night, I'm checking out new music on iTunes, and I find it listed as the best-selling album in the Electronic section. I listened to some sound clips, and it sounds fairly interesting - but with all of the buzz around this group, I was surprised that it hasn't come up in the Keyboard Corner yet, especially since most of the tracks are piano-driven pop. Any opinions/feedback?
felix.
I finally broke down and downloaded this after hearing a tune on the Radio. There's some very catchy stuff here. Really good pop songs like I haven't heard in a while. There's a song that's very much along the lines of some early upbeat Elton John, there's some funky disco-tinged stuff - anyway, a very fun listen. Best, Geoff They´r e a good band and I really like Comfortably Numb (I haven´t heard Floyd´s original version! ), but like Geoff said, the aforementioned artists kind of fill that void for me...
