Joachim P. Dyndale Posted December 20, 2002 Posted December 20, 2002 You know, the one which compresses better than MPEG4 but is totally non-lossy... -Joachim Dyndale -------------------- Einstein: The difference between genius and stupidity is: Genius has limits My Blog...

Joachim P. Dyndale Posted December 20, 2002 Author Posted December 20, 2002 Hehe... Sure was! :) I'm greatly looking forward to trying this app out! Non-lossy! Good job! :thu: -Joachim Dyndale -------------------- Einstein: The difference between genius and stupidity is: Genius has limits My Blog...
Joachim P. Dyndale Posted December 20, 2002 Author Posted December 20, 2002 Oh, and by the way... I don't know if you're working on the actual compression code, but: Have any good advice for a person who is really interested in data compression, mainly non-lossy, but knows very little math at the moment? That person is, of course, me. I know VERY little math, but that's only because the math courses weren't available to me in high school, since I studied music. I'm fairly intelligent though, and seem to pick up on mathematical things pretty quick. Also, I'm no expert programmer, but I know the absolute basics in c++/delphi/assembler/php. Anything very informative but also very usefull for a person like out there? I got some good tips regarding a few good web sites on another thread here, but I think I need something a bit different. -Joachim Dyndale -------------------- Einstein: The difference between genius and stupidity is: Genius has limits My Blog...

Check with Master Zap, guy knows his stuff and is in your neck of the woods. Perhaps he can point you in the right direction? - DJDM DJDM.com
Joachim P. Dyndale Posted December 20, 2002 Author Posted December 20, 2002 Hehe... Right. Thanks a lot. And good luck! -Joachim Dyndale -------------------- Einstein: The difference between genius and stupidity is: Genius has limits My Blog...
Roto Posted December 20, 2002 Posted December 20, 2002 Hehe @ the irony of being put under an NDA for promoting it :thu:
