Jeff Klopmeyer
It's news to me that a short-lived British TV show went by the name "A for Andromeda". source http://www.daviddarling.info/images/AAndromeda.jpg It aired for a whole month in 1961 before being canceled. Synopsis: scientists get mysterious radio signals from space, enabling them to build a supercomputer, which in turn builds a girl named Andromeda.
