(note the punctuation) Not exactly a big surprise but "oh well".... I want to thank everyone for their kind words and kudos after my hasty departure. I still have a lot of "stuff" going on, but I'm sleeping even less than before so I find myself carousing about these parts again. but you know i was getting used to posting like this it seemed to make things smoother do you not think so maybe i should keep posting like this maybe what do you think people seem to like talking like this in real life maybe this is better and does not rub people the wrong way Just kidding, it was actually fairly difficult to shift down a gear to do that regularly.

Hey Chip, how've you been?If you ever, ever, obfuscate like that again, I will drive to Augusta and kick your ass. :D Hey, how's all the folks at the Crack Kroger?

I would assume 'T. Ehl' is a writer of philosophy, the true discoverer of America or some uncredited inventor, of which without our lives would be drastically different... :) Anyway Chip, its good to have you back without the makeup on. We appreciate your essence..er, presence. Say 'hi' to the ho's at the crack Kroger, and the 'sheep' at the flourescent palace, Walgreens. ;) Matt
In two days, it won't matter.

So you're telling me there are actually like 6 people who post to this forum, but they all have about 9320 id's? So that explains the content problem... ;)

I really don't know what to put here.

Oh, my young Western friends, do you not yet recognize that identity is an illusion? Maya surrounds us all & separates us from the unity that would make the Internet unnecessary when we recognize that the only thing that separates us from ourselves is ourselves. Cast off all your names---be as one! PS, welcome back, CM ! (Hmmm...CM...?)

Hey, Chip! How the heck are ya?? How's the teaching studio? I sincerely hope your absence here was due to lots of lessons and the rigors of running your own business. In an interview, Harry Chapin recalled a conversation with his grandfather.
He said, "Harry, there's two kinds of tired. Good tired and bad tired." He said, "Ironically enough, bad tired can be a day that you won. But you won other people's battles. You lived other peoples' days, other peoples' agendas, other peoples' dreams. And when it was all over there was very little you in there and when you hit the hay at night, somehow you toss and turn, you don't settle easy." He said, "Good tired, ironically enough, can be a day that you lost. But you don't even have to tell yourself because you knew you fought your battles. You chased your dreams. You lived your days. And when you hit the hay at night you settle easy. You sleep the sleep of the just and you can say, 'Take me away.'"
I repeat this to you, in hopes that no matter what happens, you realize the struggle to keep your business thriving, win or lose on a given day, should leave you good tired every night. Glad to have you back, here.

It's easiest to find me on Facebook. Neil Bergman

Hi Chip. Welcome back! You'll find that we're a little more civil about the political stuff here now. You might not remember me. I came on board a couple weeks before you took your sabbatical, and they've been trying to get rid of me ever since. :D BTW, I like you much better as Chip. T.Ehl was really starting to drive us nuts with that lack of punctuation! Thanks for becoming yourself again!

Wow, I'm not going to get Struthers on you, but it's cool you guys remember some of my blathering - thanks JOTOWN: Hey BRAKKA: t. ehl - well see, there is already someone here that *could* tell you that, and I thought they would figure it out, but I dunno.... I'll let them tell you if they read this. An "in" joke sort of. ROG: Hi PHAlndLn of the Opera (ok, who did you used to be?): No, I DEFINITELY was not Bralalal. HOWEVER, the funny thing is that the first time I took a peek back in here was apparently the day after the "war" started... I remember thinking "well, let's see, the world couldn't really get any stranger" and then I start seeing posts about a he/she and.... Wewus: I've been better. This year will have to get written off. In the immortal words of Artie Fufkin - would you do me a favor, and just kick my ass? The Crack Kroger... Hmm. Give me a moment, there was something that happened recently that was entertaining but it escapes me at the moment... Joachim P. Dyndale - Thanks... Hippie: welllll..... not exactly, although I can say he is a writer you may be inadvertantly familiar with. Hank The Cave Peanut: Popmusic ChristopherKemp: Ouchee. Augusta is surreal as ever, if not more so. Let's see, we had a riot not to long ago, I suppose everyone knows about Hootie Johnson... all sorts of fun stuff. The Tedster of Christmas Present: Hey, thanks... hey, you've passed 7,000.....? ikestr: thanks, things are "so so", and I will post but maybe not as frequently as I used to. KHAN Kringle: thanks and thanks... (btw, I keep forgetting - are you subscribed to Echoes, the Floyd list? We did a compilation CD at the beginning of the year, were you on there somewhere?) the people of Earth: CM has not left, and he was never me. Ken/Eleven Shadows: Hi skip: Yo. Nuthin much I suppose... The Ghost of Bergers Past: hey thanks, angst is easy. Hope things are going well with your health fantasticsound: "ok". The lesson studio turned out to be a big waste; my final "business partner" took off to the competition leaving me with the rent, and I've ended up back a couple days out of the week at the music store I started out at in the end - which made the whole month of June a complete waste of my time and energy, combined with losing most all of my friends at the same time because of that and other unrelated reasons. That was fun, and that was just June... .. I do have a full schedule of students now, I hope that continues, but at the same time I think I've crossed a threshold of...tolerant perserverence. I have a "Student Performance Dinner" Saturday that should be very amusing thanks to the vagaries of the personalities of some of my students. Thanks - Super 8: thanks.. although dare I ask, which political thread was that? I distinctly remember long ago thinking "should I post this?" because it would be opening Pandora's box... which I suppose has lost the lid and hinges by now, huh? I have been better, thanks for asking. Merry Cereal Ho Ho Ho: thanks - yeah, maybe too busy. Ultravibe: thanks, and thanks for reminding I've got to change the .. stuff on my webpages... dBunny: more civil? As far as that goes relative to the political stuff, not to fear - I ended up here to escape another board that was all politics; if you can imagine Ralph Nader trying to interact with an entire horde of really poor Rush Limbaugh, Hannity and Bill O'Riley wannabes, except more red around the neck with a dash of the NRA and "Strom really shudda wun back in '56" attitude thrown in. The weird factor here and in my personal life suddenly pegged the needles all at once, I'm hoping "things" are in a holding pattern for now. Thanks everyone...
