p120dUdE
Hey Keyboard King, I will give you some ideas that may lead you in the right direction. *First off, they Yamaha Tyros has a great piano sound that is better than the technics kn7000. They both have great sounds, but Yamaha has better sounds in pianos and other catagories. They also both have organ modelling technology. I am really not sure which is better, but I will probly lean toward the tyros. *The keybed is 61 unweighted keys with initial/aftertouch. Both have the same keybed, except Technics keybed feels a little mushy. *Both workstations have Color LCD screens that are adjustable. They look pretty sharp. The bottom line is, you should go check them out yourself. Also, if you want a workstation with weighted keys, check out the yamaha Motif ES 8. It has a balanced hammer action and good sounds. Hope this was helpfull. p120dUdE My Gear: Yamaha P120 Professional Stage Piano, Yamaha CS1x Synthesizer, Yamaha MSP5 Monitors, Behringer Eurorack UB802 Mixer Music I Play: Classical, Jazz, Blues, Classic Rock, Rock The Yamaha P120 Pro. Synthoid
Yamaha, definitely. Besides, Technics went out of business from what I've heard. When an eel hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's a Moray.
