I'm thinking of a peavey kb5 anyone have this?

I use an s80 and nord electro so I want to keep it stereo, the kb5 is stereo out to main board but mono out the amp, hoping this may work for small to mid size gigs,

I just got a new amp in December. It is the KP-200S by Motion Sound. I love it. It's in stereo, not too big(55 lbs.), 200watts (100 watts/channel), and four pairs of stereo inputs. Paid $781.20 for amp and a small stand including tax at Chucks.

I use a Motion-Sound KBR-M. I also use a Nord Electro, and while the Leslie simulation is passable, I greatly prefer the real rotor horn. Motion-Sound makes a KBR-3D which is stereo. It ain't cheap, though.

I'm using a Fender Keyboard 200 SFX (single-point stereo licensed from Groove Tubes) with a MotionSound Pro3 on top. It's strictly a studio set-up, as I "retired" from gigging a few years ago.

This is a popular topic on this forum. It may help you to use the search feature and look for prior postings on the topic, or you can type in specific brand names or models.

With that said, my amp of choice is the Motion Sound KT80. I use two of them for stereo sound on stage. For efficiency's sake, here is a link to one of my posts about the KT80:

A number of users are also using the Motion Sound KP200S. I will say that it is hard to beat true stereo monitoring.

I use three amps: PA, Marshall, and MotionSound.

The QS7.1 and MK80 go straight into the PA.

The JP8000 goes into a Marshall Major 200w stack.

The Hammond A100 goes into a MotionSound Pro3T; the low rotor sim output of that also goes into the Marshall stack.

Both the Pro3T and Marshall cab are mic'ed, and fed into the PA.

I used to think I was Libertarian. Until I saw their platform; now I know I'm no more Libertarian than I am RepubliCrat or neoCON or Liberal or Socialist.

This ain't no track meet; this is football.

Thats cool, I just sold a kbr-3d I picked from chucks, it sounded ok for Rhodes and wurly patches on the s80 but that acc piano sounded really bad for me and just didnt have enough umph to compete with the rest of band with two guitarist blasting their amps.

After reading some different post and replies it doesnt look like to many of you here like peavey anything, not even enough to try the kb5. Thinking maybe I should try Two JBL eon 15 with a small mixer. They both look easier to lug around than the kbr3d anyway.

New to this site I find the info you all share invaluable, thanks everyone

Yes, a piano sample needs some dialing in on the kbr-3d, but it is in stereo and the leslie sim is pretty spot on. Where the kbr-3d really shines is when you hook a real Hammond up to it. It truly becomes a baby leslie. It's my personal amp of choice.

Another Motion Sound KP-200s user here! Love it... wish more keyboard amp manufacturers took STEREO as seriously. A great little keyboard amp for sure.

Anyone seen the new Motion Sound SL-200s yet? It's a slave cabinet that goes with the KP-200s with the same stereo amp/speakers/cabinet, and it connects to the KP-200s with a MIDI-style DIN cable. Just announced at NAMM at you can view it on their website, but I haven't heard any prices yet. Seems like a neat enough idea...
