sudeep Posted February 9, 2004 Share Posted February 9, 2004 Hey there guys....i just caught Jon Cleary playing on Sat night (he is down in Sydney touring with Bonnie Rait) and he performed at the basement (a Sydney jazz venue) with the Absolute Monster Gentlemen. YOu know I knew he'd be good...but he just blew me away!!. He is SOOO FUNKY!!! Everyone was actually dancing (which you dont see that often). I found out after the fact that I missed AMG when he came to Mill Valley last year ... Dude *is* funky. He also played on PBS's blues series that aired last year. A real soulful, articulate player.
