fingerz88
Hey All, I've owned the Roland XV-5080 for some time now in my commercial project studio. I'm not making the most of the effects and it seems I'm just having mental blocks and senior moments whenit comes to fully understanding the routing when in Performance mode. I'm working in Pro Tools LE and need to take full advantage of the units effects. Other than the Roland issued video manual which lightly grazes the effects topic, is there a training book or video for someone like me? Thanks, Dean in NYC. RABid
If you can find someone with a Fantom, a few hours on it with manual in hand will help you understand the routing of the XV-5080 effects. It is a bit easier to grasp when you can see the actual layout on the Fantom's screen. Robert This post edited for speling. fingerz88
Thanks Robert, that's an interesting idea, though i don't know anyone with the Fantom. In that case I wonder, if the layout is basically the same in both instruments, whether or not there's a Fantom tutorial that will better explain this as opposed to the 5080 manual/video.
