Brakka Posted December 11, 2002 Posted December 11, 2002 What strange places do you listen to music? The Anyone Here Use MP3 Players? thread had a couple of interesting mentions- Hank the Marimba Peanut listens while running marathons, and Craig listens to his mp3 player while grocery shopping. Any others?
Oiled Posted December 11, 2002 Posted December 11, 2002 I listen to music while bathing, cooking, doing paperwork, working out, and often during sex.
Brakka Posted December 12, 2002 Author Posted December 12, 2002 Pretty normal, there. Except maybe the sex- I always found music distracting then. I'll try it again, though... Nope, too distracting.
gearmike Posted December 12, 2002 Posted December 12, 2002 On a plane. I can't imagine flying without my iPod and my in-ear-monitors...I sat right in front of a crying baby flying from Pheonix to LA...never heard a thing... Seriously, what the f*ck with the candles? Where does this candle impulse come from, and in what other profession does it get expressed? -steve albini
Twilight Posted December 12, 2002 Posted December 12, 2002 in the car on a plane on a trane in my chair on my couch in my bed in the tub in the gym in my head... at all times. "In the depths of winter I finally learned there was in me an invincible summer." - Albert Camus
D_dup3 Posted December 12, 2002 Posted December 12, 2002 I strain to hear the space between the tracks...
Baby Posted December 12, 2002 Posted December 12, 2002 At the local school playground, where I offer my homemade candy to young children.
GypsyTiger Posted December 12, 2002 Posted December 12, 2002 In the rain, on a train, on a boat, with a goat Ooops, I said the loud part quiet and the quiet part loud! Pretend you didn't hear goat. WHat goat? Anywho, there is music on almost 24/7 at our house. We even play classical music all night while we're sleeping. The kids can wake up and know what time it is by what type of music is on! (Classical to sleep by, Jazz or Blues to mellow into the morning, Swing for the morning rush, Sinatra for supper, etc. etc. etc.) :thu:
