Your Ad Here
I'm looking for some good piano samples. Mainly doing rock stuff. My kurzweil sound module died and I need good piano sounds to finish a production. Thanks
Dave Horne
I paid $400 (or so) for my Wm. Coakley Perfect Piano Vol 3 so I would imagine it might be difficult for anyone to simply pass on a 60+ meg sample just for the asking. I went back and edited this ... I saw 'WTB' which didn't strike a bell the first time around, sorry. At any rate, $400 for a piano sample is a bit steep. Different folks have different opinions on which sample is the best. There is a web site where they are compared. The finest piano sample I have ever heard is the one built into the Yamaha GranTouch pianos. They are not sold separately or I would have already bought one to replace my Perfect Piano Vol. 3. Good luck. No guitarists were harmed during the making of this message. In general, harmonic complexity is inversely proportional to the ratio between chording and non-chording instruments.

Your Ad Here
I'm looking to buy some samples - just to be clear - ideally from someone who has moved on to a different format, or buy new. Any other recomendations besides the Coakly stuff? Thanks again.
