Jari_mpef
Hi there! How can I program the modulation wheel to act like the pitch bend but in a range of 12 semitones? Thanks.

Jari_mpef
Hi Pim! I got no synth, I would like to do it in Cubase SX.I got a Fatar SL-880. Thanks
Pim
Well, in that case... it won't work. You need a synthesizer. Software or hardware version - that doesn't matter. Modulation is a controller. Like all controllers, it sends out 128 steps. Can't be more, it can't be less steps. My Music I always wondered what happened after the fade out? RABid
You also run into the problem of the mod wheel being one direction and not centering. That means on some synths you can program the mod wheel to do pitch bend, but only in one direction. Some soft synths will let you direct mod wheel info to sources such as osc tune, but you have the same problems as with hardware. Robert This post edited for speling.
