ksoper
It's time to get serious...I'm just not sure how serious. I don't do much scoring, if any. But I love the "maestro" features of the big collection. Is it worth the $700 difference? Are there any other giga ensemble strings that I should be considering that offer similar articulations? Thanks, k. 9 Moog things, 3 Roland things, 2 Hammond things and a computer with stuff on it
Donnie
Hands down I would choose either the Quantum Leap String Ensembles or the Sonic Implants. Both offer way better sound quality and playability in my opinion. dc
Dan South
The Sonic Implants demos are amazing. I *just* received my copy, so I haven't had a chance to dig into it yet. I hear good things about Garritan, too, but I'll need to do a comparison before I can offer any more info. I heard the Vienna stuff demo'd live, but it didn't do it for me. Lots of people swear by Vienna, though. Maybe I'm just weird. Your mileage may vary. The Black Knight always triumphs!
