RABid
After a couple months of very careful bidding I finally bought a music instrument on ebay. It is a Korg Wavestation SR and I got it for under $250 with original manuals. (Dan, do you still have the one you were thinking about selling?) I forgot how nice these sound. I like it better than my Karma and it gives me a sound that my Roland gear is missing. I hope this does not turn into an addiction. There is a lot of cheap gear I would like to add to my rack. FS1r, Morpheus, D-550, Trinity Rack, MKS-70, etc Robert This post edited for speling. My Sweetwater Gear Exchange Page
marino
Welcome to the club, Robert! I'm a Wavestation fan, and I use it to this day quite often (I have an A/D and an SR). Be sure to visit the Wavestation Patch Archive - there are lots of good banks of free sounds there.
RABid
Thanks for the tip. I had never heard of that site. I owned a Wavestation SR 6 or 6 years ago and really wish I had not traded it away. The A/D is tempting but seems to be quite a bit more expensive than the SR. Also, I have not read any problems of the scream fading on the SR the way they do on the A/D. Robert This post edited for speling.
