Jabbe
I've been thinking to buy the Triton LE soon. But I was just wonderin, that would it be a better choise to buy a used Classic, because the price difference isn't that big if I can just find one. Is it possible to get the LE sounds to the Classic? What are the advantages of the Classic against the LE? I also think I need the sampler so the price would be even closer.. felix.
I think Triton Classic is a better investment, just because of the expandability (with LE, you can't add expansion boards). Plus, I think the touch screen is a big plus. I know you're talking about used, but check out the rebate that Korg has on new right now ($140 back, free SCSI option and free piano expansion board), and you may decide to go new after all. Jabbe
Sounds nice already. How about the sounds? I've heard the LE has more new and modern sounds, can I get those for the Classic too?
felix.
Those patches are compatible with Triton Classic, too, they just won't come as presets. You'll probably have to download them from somewhere.

Jabbe
So does the Classic have the same basic soundset (samples) than the LE? Just different presets.. can I download the LE preset from the net for a Classic or something?

Go to the download section at www.irishacts.com and you can easily load the LE soundset into your Classic.
Jabbe
The 40th aniversary bonuses are USA only. I live in Finland. So no extra goodies.. The Classic 61 costs around 2300€, and the LE 61 around 1300€, samplercard for LE ~400€. So the price difference would be quite close to 600€. Is it really worth it? How much is it ok to pay for a used Triton Classic?
