analogman1
Hello all experts with platinum ears! Need your expert advice... I've been enjoying my new Yamaha p-250 for a few weeks now. Really sounds and plays GREAT! Lat nite, when I was playing some Bach very sofly, I noticed a jump in sample volume in the first Bb above middle C. Has anyone else heard this?? I'm thinking it's just a weird sample break that's noticable at soft volumes. (but it seemd just to be th Bb)unless my ears were playing trickls on me!!! (I just want to make sure the internal "hammer mechanism" isn't damaged and hitting that note harder -- "virtually" --) Your opinions...or advice?? analogman1
As a follow up, the noise sounds much less pronounced toady; however, I'm not playing nearly as quiet as I was last nite. Perhaps it's just a sample break that's noticable at soft levels?? Big T Tom Nord Electro 5D, Modal Cobalt 8, Yamaha upright piano, numerous plug-ins...
