I don't recall blazing anyone else's choice in music gear...if anything,I support you because you just might turn *ME* on to something I never knew about before..... That is a good and healthy thing,because I have always looked to good people for advice..... Good people are on this board.... but as in life,there are an almost equal number of "naysayers".... The info about Casio,I provide for "FYI"-"For Your Information---" I'm NOT holding a gun to your head.....I'm trying to appraise you of your options.... especially,in a world where there are precious *few*...... If you have the $$$$ and want to spend it-GOOD! That is your right as a citizen of the good 'ol US of A. Just don't come crying to me when your supposed "motherlode" didn't last as long as disco... You can either "Pay more for less" or "Pay less for MORE"...that's all I'm saying....truth.... If one of the "Bigs" comes up with something righteous tomorrow,you can bet that I will follow them and find out more.... ...and...if it's worth it...I might even *buy* it...... But,if not,I can always turn to whom I trust... whose sounds have laid the soundtrack of my life....and my ambitions... So...if you think I'm a "Casioman" way too often for these boards...look into your own motivations..... If you mentioned Roland,Korg,etc. *half* as often as I mention mine....you too could get"burned at the stake" for what *you* believe in.... ..and that is *cool*.. but the bottom line is...... We understand that you like Casio keyboards. Really we do. We're glad they work for you. However, most of us do not share your enthusiasm for them. Nor do we have to, any more than you have to stop liking them. The reason that people occasionally give you grief about Casio is that you practically shove it down people's throats. There's even one thread where the poster (Phait) nicely asked you to back off of the Casio thing because it wasn't what he was looking for, and you pretty much ignored him. When more than a few people on a forum ask you if you work for Casio, perhaps that's a sign that you may be overdoing it. Oh, and while I'm on the subject - this is a keyboard forum.
