wretch666420
Our drummer uses a sampler some of the time, and what we could really use is a midi controller he can hit with his sticks like a drum pad, however i cannot find one, can any one tell me a brand and model that would work preferably with multiple pads. zeronyne
You might want to look for a Roland PAD-8 or PAD-80, aka the Octapad and Octapad II, respectively. They are both discontinued, so you may find a good deal on ebay...remember though, used items that are MEANT to be hit with sticks vary widely in quality. Also, look for a Drumkat or DK10. I think KAT is out of biz, but there is someone still distributing their stuff. "For instance" is not proof. Prague
Yes, try all of the above. Something should work. Kat is still in business. You'll find them at: http://www.alternatemode.com/
Wewus432
Do a web search for something like- Midi drum triggers- and you'll get a couple of hundred links to products, and reviews of products, you can use.
RABid
You can also look for a used Roland SP-11 or a new Roland SP-20. I started with an SP-11 and have since added hi-hat, bass drum, and pads.
