Phil B
I posted this in another thread, but I don't thing you saw it, so here it goes... For anyone who can't log in, I figured out how you can log on with your original name again. On the screen after you try to log in click on "I don't know my password" or whatever it says and type in your email address. At least with my account, the log in name changed when they switched over the system. Using the log in name and password sent via email, I am now able to log on with my original name. Hopefully it's the same with yours and you can still get to 5000.
synthetic.
I tried that, the username and password are as I left them. Thanks, though. Apperently they're working on it. -jl
felix.
Yeah, I got a message that suggested I delete my cookies and then try and login again. Unfortunately, that didn't work either.
lack of me
My assumption about login problem is that when a member login on different computer (e.g. computer at public places) and doesn't logout from that exact computer, the cookies will be made on that computer and the forum will consider the member as "logged in" from that computer, not the member's private home pc. So, the home pc will be kind of stranded on the web, at least on the forum server's side..
synthetic.
I tried logging in from another computer that I've never used for Musicplayer before. No worries, at the rate I was going I wouldn't have hit 5000 posts for another 25 years.
Jeff Klopmeyer
Can I start calling you "synthetic dot"? Cause, you know that's a cooler name than just plain old "synthetic". - Jeff Marketing Communications for MI/Pro Audio My solo music and stuff They Stole My Crayon

felix.
I'm keeping my dot. It's kinda like my "Nelly band-aid," which I'll continue to wear until my old login is fixed.
