Phil B Posted July 18, 2003 Share Posted July 18, 2003 This is absolute conjecture on my part, but could it be possible that a separate company manufacturers those orange-lit sample triggers for Korg and the same company does it for Roland (for the Fantom S) as well? If so, maybe they agreed in their contract with Roland not to license the technology to any other manufacturer "for use in a keyboard with full size keys" or something like that?
