Band exchange

I was watching last nite some big aids-consert where Dave Matthews performed solo. He is great, cool voice and nice song. He sang Crash Into Me. I was thinking how great he sounded and how his band is really starting to annoy me. Don't get me wrong, I reallyreally liked DMB when Under The Table... came out. But hey, IMO, his band is too busy and doesn't really groove. And to the point... How cool would Dave Matthews sound if he'd play with, for example, James Taylor's band? ...And how would JT sound with Dave's band. That would be interesting! Or Bob Dylan with Steely Dan's band --> Fagen and Becker with Dylan's band. :eek: Hey, if you could, who's backing bands you'd change. Just for fun :p luuker

Some of those you mentioned hurt my ears. Dylan and Steely Dan is ouch. :freak: How about XTC/Peter Gabriel? Those guys could write a cool album.
