Too subjective... Which is the best/wost calculator, car/truck, clothing size? There are too many factors in your poll to consider... -- Computer used -- Audio Interface -- Preamps -- Amplifiers -- Speakers -- Software -- Room/Environment

AudioMaverick I don't agree with you. IMHO the mixing algorithm is 80% of the sonic quality

Hmmm... I've only used PT and Cubase, but I'm not sure If they're the best sounding. They both sound good to me. A question like that might work better without a poll. Then people mention what they use, and a few people post who know a lot about digital audio and can compare & contrast (Craig & others :thu: ). There have been some decent threads here like that, try a search.

AND... ...what if you don't use the DAW to do any mixing at all...just slice-n-dice editing...then back out to an analog desk for some "real" mixing... :p Then the "algorithm" theory is meaningless... :eek:
