So, does this mean that I could run Nuendo with a TC Powercore, Mackie UAD-1, Houston, and VST plug-ins up the ass all through my Digi-001 box?

According to a user over at the DUC who has done so,yes. It's funny how ecstatic PT users are to be allowed to use something else.Don't go too crazy though, because if you like your new found freedom too much the Digi Police might start imposing curfews

Well, money for new hardware has been the only thing keeping me from using Nuendo. And Digidesign's lack of 3rd party harware support has been whats pushing me towards Nuendo.

I just bought an RME 24/96 card, and I may not need it for now if I can use Cubase SX through the Digi 001 with it's optical lightpipe I/0 into my Trak2. If I can it will be very happy indeed. :)
