Brakka Posted November 23, 2002 Posted November 23, 2002 I really don't mind Yes that much, but you have to be in the mood for it, yo? You can play anything else you want. Put on that new Esquina joint, or maybe some old Clifford Brown.
Bunny Knutson Posted November 23, 2002 Posted November 23, 2002 Well, now that you've gotten that song stuck in everyone's head, they might as well be singing the correct lyrics to themselves. :D ~~~ Yes Roundabout Anderson/Howe Ill be the roundabout The words will make you out n out And change the day your way Call it morning driving thru the sound and in and out the valley The music dance and sing They make the children really ring I'll spend the day your way Call it morning driving thru the sound and in and out the valley In and around the lake Mountains come out of the sky and they stand there One mile over well be there and well see you Ten true summers well be there and laughing too Twenty four before my love youll see Ill be there with you I will remember you Your silhouette will charge the view Of distance atmosphere Call it morning driving thru the sound and even in the valley In and around the lake Mountains come out of the sky and they stand there One mile over well be there and well see you Ten true summers well be there and laughing too Twenty four before my love youll see Ill be there with you Along the drifting cloud the eagle searching down on the land Catching the swirling wind the sailor sees the rim of the land The eagles dancing wings create as weather spins out of hand Go closer hold the land feel partly no more than grains of sand We stand to lose all time a thousand answers by in our hand Next to your deeper fears we stand Surrounded by a millions years Ill be the round about The words will make you out n out Ill be the round about The words will make you out n out Ill be the round about The words will make you out n out And change the day your way Call it morning driving thru the sound and in and out the valley In and around the lake Mountains come out of the sky and they stand there One mile over well be there and well see you Ten true summers well be there and laughing too Twenty four before my love youll see Ill be there with you https://bunny.bandcamp.com/ https://theystolemycrayon.bandcamp.com/

Bunny Knutson Posted November 23, 2002 Posted November 23, 2002 Brakka, I hope you know that you are in direct violation of the law with your post above. It is a violation of my privacy for you to post my IQ like that. It is also a betrayal of trust between us as friends. When I shared my IQ with you it was in confidence, not something for you to POST ON THE INTERNET!!! You will be hearing from my lawyers first thing Monday morning. I strongly urge you to seek legal counsel yourself. You have NO IDEA how much trouble you're in. I also strongly recommend that you delete your post above before any more damage is done to my public persona. https://bunny.bandcamp.com/ https://theystolemycrayon.bandcamp.com/

zele Posted November 23, 2002 Posted November 23, 2002 Have you ever been stuck in A-RoundAbout--say a busy peak hour in Western England --try driving on the "other side" and shifting with your left hand and circling in a RoundAbout,,,whilst listening to the classic hit on the radio...been there^^^^^^^ +++++was that Chris White from the Zombies>>>on the old YES line-up?? The ZOmbies are out touring again with White, I understand ---Just picked -up the Zombies classic re-release of Odessy & Oracle---The British version of Pet Sounds cjogo http://fp2k.redshift.com/cjogo/crystalrecording.htm C Jo Go Crystal Studios http://fp2k.redshift.com/cjogo/recording_studio.htm
BOOKUMDANO Posted November 24, 2002 Posted November 24, 2002 It might be improper for one to mention anything of an actual technical level on this thread...but I thought I'd urge all you Yes fans to get the dvd-a of Fragile. I've been listening to the new surround mix for four or five days now and it is absolutely great. Oh yeah, and lately I've been getting over overhanging leaves (from Topographic Sludgepool).

Mark Zeger Posted November 24, 2002 Posted November 24, 2002 Jon Anderson can't belt out the high notes anymore, but these guys still have it. I saw them 2 weeks ago. I'll forgive the inclusion of "Don't Kill the Whale" in the set, because they opened with "Siberian Khatru", played "South Side of the Sky", "Awaken", "Heart of the Sunrise", "Starship Trooper". Chris Squire included about half a dozen bass riffs from other Yes songs into his solo on "The Fish". I hadn't listened to Yes in many years, but that show brought back fond memories of my youth.
Dan South Posted November 25, 2002 Posted November 25, 2002 I remember the first time I drove on the left. Rented a car at the Edinburgh airport. Five roundabouts in the first mile. I nearly soiled myself. :D The Black Knight always triumphs!
patrick_dont_fret Posted November 25, 2002 Posted November 25, 2002 Screw roundabouts...I'd just push on straight through them.
