RABid Posted October 31, 2002 Posted October 31, 2002 I am not sure how long it has been on the Roland site but I found it today when looking for operating system updates. After downloading, installing and setting it up I am reminded of how complicated the XV sound structure is. The main screen allows you to switch between four pages, one for each tone generator that makes up a patch structure. In addition to the main screen there are 16 additional windows that open up for detailed programming of everything from reverb to full matrix control of the TVA (VCA) section. Has anyone been using this? I assume it is the same editor that comes with the XV-5050. It looks very nice and will make some task such as setting the velocity and key ranges very simple. I'm not sure that programming a patch is going to be much easier. Robert This post edited for speling. My Sweetwater Gear Exchange Page
