B3 midi files published in Keyboard Magazine

Does anyone know where I can find the midi files originally linked to the May 1994 article on the Hammond B3 riffs? I can find the links to the files, but they are broken.

The text of the article is in Mark Veils's book, but I don't believe it comes with the midi files; am I correct about this?

Yeah, you mean this site right?

I don't have the midi-files but it's very frustrating that none of the links work!

As with all the archives, the midi files are missing. I have all 26 B3 midi files. Before I distribute them, I should get permission from a Keyboard Magazine representative. I don't want to be accused of copyright infringement. (This is KB's forum after all.)

Dave Bryce - you're the closest thing that we've got to a KB rep. Can you get me the okay? I can put them up on a website or email them to Will.

I think what we'd all prefer is to have all the archive files reposted. I collected many over the years and, unfortunately, lost most to a hard drive crash. They were a great learning tool. If KB not longer has them, I'm more than happy to share what I still have. I'm willing to bet that there are other forum members who can fill in the gaps.

I'll send Greg Rule an email - that's about the best that I can do.

I don't imagine it'd be a problem to email someone some MIDI files that were already available for public consumption - I'm no lawyer, though....

Dave,

Thanks for checking. I'll wait to hear from you or Greg before doing anything. If you haven't sent the message yet, please ask if I can provide it and other midis from the archive as either an email or web posting. If web, I would only let the forum members know about the web link.

Feel free to delete my "Question for Dave" posting from today. I'd do it, but I believe you're the only one with delete rights.

Again, thanks.
