This is unreal :eek::thu:

With the exception of the wire strings, this instrument is entirely constructed out of LEGO parts--the keyboard, jacks, jack rack, jack rail, plectra, soundboard, bridge, hitch pins, tuning pins, wrestplank, nut, case, legs, lid, lid stick, and music stand are all built out of interlocking ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene) plastic bricks and related pieces.

And is playable.

Have you priced out Lego sets recently? The Lego one probably costs more than the real thing. What's that Steve, a Lego Hammond tonewheel generator?

Did you listen to the sound sample??

HILARIOUS!!!

(This is not to slam on the folks who built it. I'm sure it was quite an undertaking...but the sound sample is really funny!)

Actually looks like just the one guy built it, and yeah the mp3 sample is hilarious. Sounds like it could use a tuning. He better call Wewus!

That picture above is part of the Harpsichord. According to the website "Underside view of the jack rail. It docks to ledges on the inside of the case, above the jacks. 61 tires to buffer 61 jacks." I don't really know what a jack rail is, but it's cool :D lego tires...lol

The audio sample definately brightened my day. LMAO! I can't imagine where these guys got this idea from. Pretty neat, but man, don't these people have anything better to do with their time? Geez.
