RABid Posted October 9, 2002 Posted October 9, 2002 It looks like a very slow year for music technology. The only thing new is the Karma software, but didnt Karma come out last year? I got mine in June of 2001. I bought Reason long before that. Maybe calling it a slow year is too kind. Did anything come out that was really new? Are the people who run the Grammy Awards now in charge of Musical Instrument Technology nominees? Robert This post edited for speling. My Sweetwater Gear Exchange Page

RobertWell Reason 2.0 was a complete reinvention from the source code on up. So new? Perhaps it was if you consider that it included two new sound mods and a new code base. Regardless I would say that things were a little slow this year. It seems like the bearish economy is slowing down new dev in a lot of industries. My $.02 - DJDM DJDM.com
