EJolson Posted September 18, 2002 Posted September 18, 2002 I'm looking for something new in the way of live percussion loops. I've been using the hell out of my Sampleheads NYC Percussionworks discs for years and it's time for something new. Specifically I'm looking for the bread-n-butter shaker/triangle/conga/bongo type stuff... not so much the wacky ethnic instruments like talking drum, djembe, udu or what have you. I just need basic percussion loop building blocks in a variety of tempos. Excellent recording quality is a must since most of my mixes end up going straight to broadcast. Any suggestions appreciated!
Gulliver Posted September 23, 2002 Posted September 23, 2002 Are you familiar with "Miles Bould - The Progression"? Not that much of tempo variations as I recall it, though pristine sound quality and very tightly executed. I am back.
Renie Posted September 25, 2002 Posted September 25, 2002 Not a sample CD but a sampler soft synth ''Stylus" is worth looking at if you use any standard sequencing package. Massive bang for the buck and very high quality. Loads of drum sounds and loops too. R Renie Coffey | riverattic
