Magpel Posted September 12, 2002 Posted September 12, 2002 I just recieved the latest EQ. I found a review of the Event EZbus written by none other than Gus Lozada. Cool! Another "local" in the pages of EQ. Good job, Gus. Hope there's more to come. John Check out the Sweet Clementines CD at bandcamp
DJDM Posted September 12, 2002 Posted September 12, 2002 Congrats Gus... I think? I mean isn't Gus a staff writer for EQ? He moderates a forum here. I thought the two went hand in hand? Am I wrong? - DJDM DJDM.com
soapbox Posted September 13, 2002 Posted September 13, 2002 I just noticed that myself. Congrats Gustavo! Enthusiasm powers the world. Craig Anderton's Archiving Article
Gus Lozada Posted September 13, 2002 Posted September 13, 2002 Hey !! Thanks amigos ! I don't know how often would I be writing for EQ, but I wish it was not the last time I did. Craig -and Mitch- have been very nice on allowing me collaborate with such a great magazine and -thankfully- they were surprised with my review so they decided to include it. Err... do you read Keyboard? I am also in the "Contributing Editors" staff of Keyboard since September's issue. They will include my third article for Keyboard in October's issue. (The others were on Dec 2001 and March 2002). Basically, all of them are articles about Hispanic Keyboardists, their gear and creative processes. Greg Rule has been very receptive and supportive with that, allowing the Hispanic artists to have their own space in the magazine and making the Latin american readers to feel as a part of the whole keyboard universe. So, basically, I'm a UEM guy ... freelance, but I love to wear the UEM shirt Músico, Productor, Ingeniero, Tecnólogo Senior Product Manager, América Latina y Caribe - PreSonus at Fender Musical Instruments Company Instagram: guslozada Facebook: Lozada - Música y Tecnología www.guslozada.com

Gulliver Posted September 13, 2002 Posted September 13, 2002 Just yesterday I finally subscribed to EQ. Hope to see you there! I am back.
RABid Posted September 13, 2002 Posted September 13, 2002 I need to start reading the credits and not just the articles. Congrats Gus. Robert This post edited for speling. My Sweetwater Gear Exchange Page

Jeff Klopmeyer Posted September 13, 2002 Posted September 13, 2002 The more important thing to note is that it was a well-written review...this coming from a guy that occasionally apologizes for his English skills. I've been looking at reviews as part of my job for a long time (more than a decade), so I'm pretty qualified to say "good job" to our pal Gus. Congrats, amigo.
