SPDraver Posted September 12, 2002 Posted September 12, 2002 Whats up guys? Got a quick question. I am weighing my options heavely on the K-station or the supernova 2. The one thing I really like about the supernova 2 is the arpeggiatior and the fact it has presets. I would like to save myself the money by buying the k-station since the sounds are still very fat and warm. Does the k-station have arpeggiator presets like the supernova 2? All responses are greatly appreciated. Peace Love Unity Respect, these are the virtues set forth by my musical forefathers and we should all live by them.
Felix_dup1 Posted September 13, 2002 Posted September 13, 2002 You do realize the main differences between the Supernova II and the K Station are in terms of number of keys, polyphony, multitimbrality, and other features like envelopes, effects, etc? For instance, Supernova II has 61 keys - K Station has 25. Supernova II has 24 voice polyphony (expandable to 48 voices) - K Station has 8 voices. Supernova II is 8-part multitimbral - K-Station is 1-part multitimbral. As for the arpeggiator, according to Keyboard Magazine it has "up, down, up/down, up to 4 octaves, random; latchable; settings stored with program." I'm not sure if this is the information you're looking for or if this differs from the arpeggiator on the Supernova II.
