soapbox Posted August 29, 2002 Author Posted August 29, 2002 I changed the topic title. This new one is a little more descriptive. --------------- (The former title was "OT: Requested Spam By LA Members!") Enthusiasm powers the world. Craig Anderton's Archiving Article
Dave Bryce Posted August 29, 2002 Posted August 29, 2002 Bad timing - I'll be in Philly. Otherwise, I'd love to come. Hey, you guys should join Steve and I on Sunday night if you're not busy...we're gonna try this avant-garde idea of having a musicplayer get-together for the purposes of music instead of food and/or sports... dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network
soapbox Posted August 29, 2002 Author Posted August 29, 2002 Dave, it sounds like fun! This Sunday night, I'll be at a wedding reception. Next Sunday night, I'll be entertaining houseguests who are coming into town to watch janedoe's show. However, at this point in time, I have Sunday, September 15th free. How does that look for you and Steve? Enthusiasm powers the world. Craig Anderton's Archiving Article

Here's a thought - wouldn't it be interesting if we could turn it into a semi-regular event for the forum people in the LA area? Think about it - wouldn't it be cool to actually have a venue where we could get together and jam...with little or no setup, and a crowd to watch? And different folks floating in and out each week? That could be some fun... I don't even know if this place is conducive to that, but I guess we'll see on Sunday night. dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Professional Affiliations: Royer Labs • Music Player Network
