great to have j.madden on monday night

I caught a little bit of the game last night .

It was a great move on ABC's part to have John Madden on Monday night !

He is Funny , insightful and nose(knows) his football ! dano

Well, I am a Packer fan. I must admit that I thought the Browns looked pretty good in the first quarter. They were, in my opinion, the better team. We cooked brats (with kraut), drank a couple of Foster's, and enjoyed the game. I'm pretty excited for football this year, especially with the drama that's occuring with baseball. I liked Madden, too. Those two really complement each other quite well.

 

Hope the Pack gets their act together soon!

Madden is great, and a lot funnier than people give him credit for. When they cut the camera to him telling a story to Al in the booth, his smile is so genuine that you immediatly feel his love of football! Makes me glad I love football too.

 

Much like steadyb pointed out with the beloved Chick Hern, we are living in a time of a broadcast legend....still in his prime!!

 

Gotta love John Madden!
