schmoron13 Posted August 26, 2002 Posted August 26, 2002 I bought Aardvark's Q10 2 weeks ago (it comes with Cakewalk 9) but I keep having this annoying problem. I am running it on win2k pro (on a P4 2.2ghz, 512ddr ram, 80g hd, with a soyo ultra dragon motherboard). I have two annoying problems: First, if I quit the aardvark manager (the monitor) and then try to reload it later, it refuses to work. The screen flashes on for a second and then quits. It still works but if I need to reset the levels for a mic or guitar, I have to restart the computer. Second, I am using it with the included Cakewalk 9 Pro audio. The software is nice to use, but I have a major annoyance. To record anything, I set the port to "Q10." Now two things happend after recording anything. The port automatically changes to "input 5,6" so if I need to rerecord, I have to change the port again. Secondly, upon playback, since I have it routed to a triton rack through ports 1,2, if I don't set all the output tracks to 1,2, I get a clicking sound and no audio. I am a little new to DAW so I don't know what the hell is going on, but it's frustrating as hell. I am also wondering if in the case that this is a common problem, is it worth to return the Q10 and go with a Digi001/protools LE combo? thanks in advance,
